Fox Home Entertainment have announced the US Region A Blu-ray Disc release of Nims Island on 5th August 2008 priced at $39.98 SRP. I saw it Friday, along with a theatre full of kids, and so I had to curb my own enthusiam (although mine had ulterior motives). First and foremost, this IS a Children's movie, so keep that in mind when you go to see it. While there is lots of wonderful WET GERRY to feast upon...because the water was cold...NESS was in full retreat although there were some LOVELY SHOTS looking up his shorts!!!

Nim's Island Sneak Peek will appear during an episode of iCarly on Nickelodean on Sat. April 5th at 8:00 pm. Abigail Breslin did a commercial spot for the sneak peek with the star of iCarly (a kid's show). I have no idea if it will be more than a trailer, but let's hope so.
